Birmingham/GB, Symphony Hall
Still since opening of the new Symphony Hall in Birmingham /GB in spring 1991, the organ case and the front-pipes are a visible documentation of a melodious pipe-organ in this beautiful concert hall.
In summer 2001 the instrument has been installed and completed. The inauguration took place in October 2001. A special feature of the concert hall are the big reverberation chambers which are surrounding the whole concert hall. They can be added by means of big concrete doors. This special feature we have also considered for building the pipe-organ: Some stops are placed in separate swell cases.
